The Shadowed Relic: A Character Revealed in Stages
The Shadowed Relic reveals itself in stages: a hood conceals the face, a turn brings the illustrated back into view, and movement reshapes the draped silhouette.
The Hooded Cowl Drape brings together distressed-looking black layers, concealment and an illustrated back. Those details make the character feel as if he arrived with a history, even before the runway reveal.

The hood, hanging layers and large illustration across the back give the garment several distinct readings. The front view holds information back; the turn lets the artwork take over.

Reading the garment from more than one angle
The garment depiction shows how much of the image sits on the back. Fitting and rehearsal frames show how the drape changes as the model walks, turns and lowers the hood.
The oversized artwork across the back gave the drape a focal point, while the hood created two distinct states for the same character: concealed and revealed.
The hood gave us two versions of the same person

In the runway images, the raised hood hides much of the model’s face. A later unhooded frame offers a second view of the same character. Seen together, the two images make the reveal readable.
The visual sequence moves from concealment to revelation without needing a written backstory for the character.
Then hair and makeup had to catch up to the garment
Hair direction by Tamiya Capewell supported the dark, textured finish of the look.
Makeup direction by Tim Huong and makeup by Brianna Cooke added depth around the eyes, bringing the face into the same visual world as the garment.
Together, the hood, distressing, hair, makeup and pacing created a single visual system: a concealed figure that becomes clearer with each turn. The model carried that system on the runway, while construction and beauty direction made the transformation possible.
